DESCRIPTION

Something rather special here, it's a 35-year-old single malt from Blair Athol released by independent bottler Signatory to celebrate its 35th anniversary! Distilled in September 1988, the whisky matured in an oloroso sherry butt, yielding a total of 450 bottles when it was opened in October 2023 to join Signatory's Cask Strength Collection Rare Reserve. 

TASTING NOTES

• Appearance: Copper Brown
• Nose: Licorice berries, chocolate vanilla coffee, Christmas.
• Palate: Intense cocoa, oily berries and sweet wood.
• Finish: Typical Blair Athol and manuka honey coated on the familiar Oloroso.
