A superbly sleek offering from indie bottler Signatory, this single malt from Aultmore joins the Exceptional Cask 100 Proof Edition. Distilled in 2007, the whisky matured in a host of first-fill oloroso sherry butts for a total of 17 years before it was bottled at a hearty 57.1% ABV.
This 17-year-old Aultmore 2007 was matured in first fill Oloroso sherry casks and has developed a rich dark amber color during its 17 years of maturation. For those who appreciate high strength sherried Speyside whisky, this expression is a must-try, and looks like exceptional value.
