DESCRIPTION

The Kilkerran Heavily Peated series from Campbeltown's Glengyle distillery has reached its 10th batch! Matured in 90% bourbon and 10% sherry casks, and bottled at a big, bold 57.8% ABV.

TASTING NOTES

• Appearance: Golden Hue
• Nose: A sweet introduction, there are notes of icing sugar, creme brulee and custard.
• Palate: The peat smoke is soft and sweet, with notes of toasted marshmallows typical of the Kilkerran Heavily Peated range. Hints of gooseberries and parma violets develop over time.
• Finish: The sweetness lingers in the finish in notes of orange pulp.
