DESCRIPTION

This entry level Kilkerran is from Campbeltown's Glengyle Distillery, reopened from 2004. This is lightly plated and non-chill filtered, having been matured in a classic combination of bourbon casks and sherry casks.

TASTING NOTES

• Appearance: Golden glow
• Nose: Strong Oak with burnt marshmallows, dried fruits pudding, with a light touch of peat.
• Palate: A fruit basket of citrus and orange, shortly followed by a blanket of sweets made up of vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and chocolate cookies.
• Finish: Velvet and smooth, with a typical salty and oily finish typical of Campbeltown Dram.
