DESCRIPTION

The entry cask strength of the established GlenAllachie under the watchful eyes of whisky veteran Billy Walker. Batch 9 combines Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso, Rioja and medium toasted American oak whiskies aged beyond 10 years. At a cask strength of 58.1%, this is surely one of the entry level cask strengths that one must try.

TASTING NOTES

• Appearance: Copper Brown
• Nose: Lemon, caramel, honey, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
• Palate: Chocolate, dried fruits, honey, nuts with a generous serving of sherry.
• Finish: Cocoa turning into chocolates and bitter wood turning into honey.
